Class 124 BR Blue
My class 124 in their later BR blue guises, as these were classed as intercity stock, they never received the plain BR Blue livery and went straight from Green to Blue/grey.
this also includes post – 1975 and 1977 variants, the buffet service and therefore the buffet coaches, were withdrawn in 1975 and so the respective consist is minus the buffet coach. In 1977 the class was merged with the class 123s and reduced to 4 coaches by removal of one of the MBS’s, the post 1977 variant represents the few resulting sets that consisted only of class 124 vehicles, representing class 123 vehicles would require B4 bogies which we don’t currently have a model for.
