Class 205 ‘Thumper’ BR Blue
The class 205, named ‘Thumpers’ for the noise they made while in motion are diesel-electric multiple units built between by BR at Eastleigh from 1957 to 1962, and in service for 47 years from the BR Southern Region to the Southern franchise.
This version represents a BR Blue Livery
Please note, this train is still work in progress, it will be updated as changes are made. There is likely to be a number of bugs in the current version. Please see the ‘change notes’ page (top right of the workshop item page) for descriptions of each update.
Current issues:
Minor/Aesthetic:
-middle trailer car doesn’t have completely accurate window/door layout
-small glitch on the top of exhaust pipes
-engine power is still a bit funky
-brake lever doesn’t work with mouse interactions
