Highland Railway

I started numerous attempts of making a route and gave up on it time after time. But not this time! The lump is cracked!

This route is based on the real Highland Railway in Scotland, featuring the highest point in british railway, Druimuachdar Pass. I did my best to create the route as close to the real one as I could (at least for now). I´m looking forward to the scenery update to add rivers and lochs, tunnels and bridges.

– validation and reality check of the route (Like I had a platform with an incline of 2!)

This route was heavily inspired by the great works of 44TZL – Harbord Valley and Frisia as well as his custom trains and wagons.

And of course Lapioware for creating this wonderful simulator. Keep the updates coming 🙂 Very glad I purchased this! DRS piqued my interest in railways. As I release the route on the 5th of march 2022, happy 4th birthday DRS!

The timetable contains rather long drives. Feel free to make your own timetables and I would be happy if you could make it public in the workshop for everyone to enjoy if you do so!
