Timber Wagon Pack
The timber p wagon refers to 2 designs of log carrier wagons. The timber p was based off of the conflat p design, whereas the other design (referred to as diagram 1/420) was built from scratch with a very similar chassis.
Diagram 1/420 were built in 1962 and intended for use with sawn timber (ie planks). On the other hand, the timber p wagons were converted in 1966 from spare conflat p wagons and had a central partition. These mostly stayed in Scotland. All designs were removed from service in 1981-82 as the mills they were designed to serve closed and they were eventually replaced by the OTA in 1985.
Included in this pack are both diagram 1/420 and timber p wagons with log-based loads.
