Kamov KA-52
The Ka-52 Alligator (Hokum B, according to the NATO codification) is a new—generation Russian reconnaissance and attack helicopter[4]. The machine is capable of hitting armored and unarmored vehicles, manpower and aerial targets on the battlefield. It represents a further development of the Ka-50 Black Shark helicopter.
Prior to the cessation of serial production of the Ka-50 in 2009, the specifics of the combat use of the Ka-52 provided for its performance of the tasks of an army aviation command vehicle, carrying out terrain reconnaissance, target designation and coordination of a group of combat helicopters. In addition to performing reconnaissance and combat functions, the Ka-52 can serve as a training vehicle.
