The lingering effects of World War II had not yet dissipated, and the shadow of the Iron Curtain loomed over the world. The multifaceted games played on the Korean Peninsula ultimately intensified the Cold War among the parties involved. With the armed intervention of the United States in the Korean War and China’s military deployment to North Korea, the situation on the Korean Peninsula became increasingly tense.
Meanwhile, the world was quietly changing. Another conflict, known as the "Unbelievable Operation," was brewing in Europe. It would spiral out of control with the Soviet suppression of nationalist movements in Eastern Europe and the re-militarization of West Germany, eventually evolving into a full-scale conflict between the Soviet Union and the Allied Powers

【The first Korean War】focuses on the 1950s. This mod focuses on the conquest mode, where players assume the role of China or the United States in a multi-party struggle on the Korean Peninsula to defeat their opponents and ultimately achieve victory.

After 15 years of revolutionary war, 10 years of civil war, 13 years of anti Japanese war, and three years of civil war, the CPC successfully defeated its rival, the Kuomintang, and separated China from foreign influence. The primary task is to rebuild its own country. The mission of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army is to push the United Nations Army at least away from the 37 ° north latitude line, so as to win a stable external environment for domestic construction.
In the early days, the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army focused on a large amount of captured equipment obtained in the war. Its soldiers had rich combat experience, but they were seriously short of firepower and ammunition. In the later stage, a large amount of Soviet style equipment can be obtained, greatly improving firepower. However, it should be noted that from beginning to end, the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army is a light infantry based force, lacking support from combat vehicles and armored forces.
