Compatibility Information

This Mod requires UCP, 5X, and UCP5X Compatibility mods.
(It will function without Custom 5X and DSMP Assets,
however, some game images will be blank)
It should always be loaded after (below) UCP, 5X, and UCP5X Compatibility mods.

Data Entries Changed

This mod changes content under the following data points.

key: perk_counterespionage_leveling_rate key: perk_espionage_leveling_rate key: perk_spy_trainer

-> It will conflict with / overwrite this information
of any mod loaded before (above) this mod loads.
-> Any mod loaded after (below) this mod
will conflict with / overwrite the information this mod loads.

Mod Details

This mod changes
Spy experience perks from +25/+50 to +50/+100
Spy Mission risk from -10/-20 to -25/-50
Empire Security -10/+10/+20 to -25/+25/+50

All things being equal, races still have the same standing with espionage.
That is to say, a race with +50 security still defends against a race with -50% risk etc…

However,
5X balanced perk point costs so that all races could be made with the standard perk points.
So I did not alter or try to rebalance the entire perks list to match the espionage changes.

This leaves things “broken”.
That is to say, who wouldn’t select +25% spy experience or etc.. for just 1 point?

That is not the agenda to this mod.
Its purpose is that, again, if all things are left how they are,
Espionage is just made to be a much more viable mode of attack,
and much more potent threat to consider.
