Following the aftermath of Operation Arrowhead, NATO’s efforts to stabilize Takistan and Chernarus were challenged by CSAT’s growing influence across the Green Sea region. Through covert support of insurgencies and political subversion, CSAT—particularly Russia—fueled unrest in Chernarus via the ChDKZ, and supported the Takistani Liberation Front in destabilizing the NTA. As both regions descended into open conflict by 2025, NATO forces, including US Marines and British Air Assault units, were redeployed to contain the crises and reinforce local allies. Urban warfare gripped Chernarus, while Takistan fractured into civil war as foreign PMCs and proxy militias waged brutal campaigns across key territories.

Simultaneously, Livonia became a powder keg. Though officially neutral, it became the site of escalating military tensions as NATO and CSAT-aligned forces conducted live-fire drills along its borders. In early 2026, CSAT launched a full-scale invasion under the pretense of linking Belarus to Kaliningrad, citing an alleged NATO drone shootdown as justification. The move opened a third front in the war, with the Livonian Defense Force and NATO troops now fighting to repel a coordinated CSAT offensive. The Second Cold War had entered a dangerous new phase—one that now threatened to spill across the entire continent.

United States Army
The United States’ premier fighting force. Depicted in the mod is the Light Infantry section of the Army, specifically the US Airborne Divisions and JSOC.
United States Marine Corps (USMC)
Rapid-deployment force specializing in urban combat and amphibious warfare. Deployed across in Takistan to protect US interests and in Chernarus to quell the insurgency, it acts as NATO’s spearhead in major engagements.
British Army
Air-mobile and light infantry units from the 16 Air Assault Brigade. Tasked with supporting the NTA in Takistan and providing agile responses in complex terrain.
Bundeswehr (German Army)
Mechanized infantry and logistics units deployed to support Livonian forces. Operating independently but under NATO coordination to deter CSAT aggression along the eastern frontier.

Chernarussian Defense Forces (CDF)
The official military of Chernarus. Struggling to maintain control in the face of internal unrest and foreign aggression, with limited resources and NATO support.
New Takistani Army (NTA)
The remnant of Takistan’s central government forces. Under-equipped and politically isolated, now fighting to hold the capital and prevent national collapse.
Livonian Defense Force (LDF)
A modern but lightly equipped military protecting Livonia’s sovereignty. Although not part of NATO, they work closely with Western forces to resist invasion.

Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (ChDKZ)
A Russian-backed insurgency aiming to topple the CDF. Once a defeated militia, now revived and better equipped with foreign support to wage guerrilla warfare and urban sabotage.
Takistani Liberation Front (TLF)
Hardline paramilitary movement backed by CSAT. Seeks to overthrow the NTA and establish a new regime aligned with CSAT’s strategic interests.
Russian Ground Forces
Main combat arm of CSAT in Eastern Europe. Spearheads invasions and supports proxy groups with heavy armor, artillery, and elite airborne forces.
Belarusian Army
Less modern and less equipped than the Russians, but still a formidable invasion force.
