Load from Characterpool – Templar & Spark Fix
Just a quick and dirty fix for the original "Load from Characterpool" mod, which didn’t work for Templars and Sparks due to them using their own versions of the Unit Customization screen.
This mod can technically be used without the original mod, but as i don’t want to take credit for another persons work and don’t have permission from the original mod author to republish their mod, this mod applies ONLY to Templars and Sparks. You still require the original mod for all other soldier classes. It would have been preferable for them to fix this themselves, but since the last update of the original mod was 5 years ago, that doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon, so i decided to publish this fix myself.
NOTE: If the mod doesn’t work for you, try to use the alternate mod launcher. If that also doesn’t work, check if you are using other mods that might be making changes to the customization screen as well. I tested this mod with Unrestricted Customization and it worked, so that mod should be compatible, but i can’t guarantee that it will also work with other mods of this kind.
Also since this is just a quick and dirty fix that i made to be able to use the original mod with my current playthrough, don’t expect updates or bugfixes. This is a private project i decided to publish since i have seen many other people complain about this issue on the original mods steampage.
