Religion – Improved Customization
This mod allow any civilization to choose a bonus belief to give you more choices when you found a new Religion. (Just like the Byzantine). Accordingly, Byzantine civilization’s trait has been changed.
Features:
- Unlock the reserved beliefs slot when founding a religion for every civilizations
- Theodora’s trait have changed to: ‘All cities get a Free Shrine. Holy Sites provide 50% more Faith’
Notes:
- I recommend using all of the 4 mods in the ‘Religion’ collection: Religion Collection
Compatibility:
- Requires Gods and Kings Expansion
- Compatible with Brave New World Expansion
- Compatible with all official DLC
- Compatible with Any custom civilization available on the workshop.
IMPORTANT: If you use a custom civ from the workshop, make sure this mod is loaded AFTER the civ. Follow this procedure to do it:
- Use the in-game GET MOD button.
- Subcribe to your custom civ mod and wait for download to fully complete.
- Click the ENABLE button to enable your custom civ mod.
- Use the in-game GET MOD button.
- Subcribe to Religion – Improved customization and wait for download to fully complete.
- Click the ENABLE button to enable Religion – Improved customization.
- Start a fresh new game from the mod menu.

- If you have troubles downloading the mod in game, it’s a common cache issue, follow these steps to fix it:
- 1) Unsubscribe The mod, exit steam and civ 5 completly
- 2) empty your mod folder : C:Documents and Settings[YOUR USERNAME]My documentsMy GamesSid Meier’s Civilization 5MODS
- 3) Delete the ‘Civ5ModsDatabase.db’ file located at: C:Documents and Settings[YOUR USERNAME]My documentsMy GamesSid Meier’s Civilization 5cache
- 4) Restart steam, subscribe, restart civ 5.
