This is not JUST DOUBLE THE UNITS but it requires to modify much more to get a balanced game like vanilla SFO in ultra unit size:
Rebalanced for all vanilla and all SFO units updated to the last DLC 26:
a) UNIT size x2 for all except SINGLE UNITS, HEROES, LORDS…
b) Double health for all the units so the endurance is the same
c) Single unit damage upped to double so they don’t underperform (melee and ranged also single unit warmachines)
d) All units values direct damage for the calculations scaled to same balance as vanilla ultra SFO
e) All unit and faction battle requisites for buffs like kill x to activate doubled)
f) All other requisites for units killed doubled.
g) Health of scenario buildings, damage… doubled
h) Health regen nerfed at 40% of nominal value to avoid immortality of some units.
i) Mass of large units and cavalry units increased around 50-60% so the charge effect is similar than in vanilla ultra SFO (after many test seem the best range)
Doubling some artillery is an acceptable fix to balance but there is a better way changing stats, but that is for future mods of the collection
Should be compatible with many other mods but if they add units they will not be balanced.
I stripped the other features (missile rebalance, another extra units) so you can use this barebones mod, the other for a good Hardcore gameplay will be released the next weeks.
The first thins added will be some units for extramods (mixus legendary, and other must have content) stuff that will be balancing manually), also another loreful mod that will rebalance all the factions number of units
More finetuning as I update the other stuff and receiving feedback
