Wee’s NPO Lavochkin Pack
NPO Lavochkin (formerly known as OKB-301) was founded in 1937 by V.P. Gorbunov, and supported by Semyon Lavochkin and M. Gudkov. The bureau gained distinction for its family of piston-engined fighter aircraft during World War II, later post-war, they are known for their early jet designs and later interceptors (La-200 and La-250) as they are featured in a handful of popular arcade and flight-sims.

THE LA-15 ‘FANTAIL’ (The MiG-15’s long lost step sibling)
The Lavochkin La-15 ‘Fantail’ was an early Soviet jet fighter and a contemporary of the MiG-15 which was in service with the Soviet Air Force from 1949 till 1953. The La-15 lost to the MiG-15 due to being underpowered and a lot less favored in costs and ease of manufacturing. Only 235 La-15s were built. Serving a short yet eventful life accompanied with numerous accidents, although not any much worse than the MiG-15 in that field of play.
