Arabian + Persian De Jure change
These de jure adjustments are mostly just because of my own personal aesthetic preferences, but I do have "justifications."
Following the logic of a century, ish, resulting in de jure shifts, the kingdoms of Jazira and Mesopotamia are now under the de jure of the Arabian Empire, and its default capital is now Baghdad. While Damascus had been the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate, the Abbasids were mostly in Baghdad. Hopefully, this will also mean that during the Intermezzo, the Abbasid will be less likely to move their capital to the default and thus outside the struggle region, which has always felt wrong to me.
In 1066 and 1178, Transoxiana is part of the Persian Empire’s de jure, which in my mind is kind of a reflection of the Persianized Seljuk and Khwarazmian Empires’ extents (and Timur’s as well, I suppose).
Lastly, because in 1178 this change leaves Oghuz Il as the only kingdom in the Empire of Turan, I’ve just gone ahead and moved that into Tataria.
Quick Note: For anyone playing the struggle, the "control 30% of the Persian Empire" tooltip is actually referring to 30% of the entire struggle region, so while 20 counties in the smaller persia is 20/102 for about 20%, it is actually only 20/177 counties for about 11%
Additionally, since the de jure additions of Jazira and Mesopotamia also means those regions don’t suffer from the non-de jure tax penalty anymore, (and because Egypt and Armenia are, as of the new DLC, high-tax paying tributaries), I’ve gone ahead and added a modifier that makes any involved holder of the Arabian Empire suffers from decreased vassal taxes and severely reduced tributary taxes.
