Country’s capital:

This mod improve your country’s capital importance, every capital has a rank level, from rank (I) to rank (V) and each level grants some bonuses, but mostly important it lowers the autonomy in far away states, in this mod when a province is part of an state but is too far it will gain a autonomy debuff, the more far that province is from your capital the more autonomy it will have, however, improving your capital level will reduce the impact and on level (V) capital you will not have any autonomy problems no matter how far your province is.
The province rank can be seen in the modifiers of your country’s capital province.

The level of your capital depends on the total development in the capital’s province. Rank (I) is the first rank, once your capital development reaches 25 it will be upgrade to rank (II), for rank (III) is 50 development, rank (IV) is 75 and (V) is 100.

The autonomy:

Depending on the distance between your provinces and the capital, assuming they are part of a state, (otherwise they will have 90% autonomy on normal circumstances) the province will recive a minimum autonomy debuff, it’s not 100% organic, there are 4 levels of distance, rank II, III, IV and V, once the distance reaches rank (V) there will not be a rank (VI) autonomy debuff, meaning the maximum autonomy debuff from distance is 80% minimum autonomy if you have only a rank (I) capital. Each level of distande gives 20% minimum autonomy debuff to the provice, but the capital rank II remover completly the distance debuff II, meaning it no only removes the debuff for the first distande level, but lower all other by 20%, because I made de debuff in a way they will stack the more away from the capital the province is.

Flavour events and walled cities:

The mod adds some new events that can trigger if you meet certain conditions, they are all related to local administration of a province evantually building some cool things, at moment they are:
– Philosophy and Literature Center (contains a major version)
– Naval Base (contains a major version)
– Army Headquarters (contains a major version)
– Colonial Agency
NOTE: these events can happen only one time per country, meaning if you already got a Philosophy and Literature Center, you will not get another one, but you can get the other ones 1 time aswell and can capture enemy provinces with the modifier and they will be yours.

They are basically permanent modifier in a province given by the event that will improve the province and your country, improving their province importance level, meaning that in a war they will be more valuable provinces to take from yout enemy, these modifiers are visible from the trade map mode so you can view all them in your surroudings.

Walled cities are basically provinces that have at least 15 base tax and 15 base production, they gain "Walled City" which gives the province +1 fort level and 25% defensiveness.

Major versions: these version are more powerful than the normal versions, they also can spawn only 1 time per campaing, meaning the first country that gets the event will have that power province for them (and you can tanke from them). Major version are the only events you can get in your capital, the normal ones will not spawn in your capital (and they will only occur in a province which is a capital).

How to get the events:

Philosophy and Literature Center: the province must have 10 base tax, 25 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 50 legitimacy, 10 prestige, 100 total development, embraced renaissence, 10 innovativeness and 1 stability.

Major Philosophy and Literature Center: the province must have 20 base tax, 50 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 75 legitimacy, 25 prestige, 100 total development, embraced renaissence, 25 innovativeness and 2 stability.

Naval Base: the province must have 10 base production, 25 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 50 legitimacy, 10 prestige, 100 total development, embraced colonialism, 50 ships and 1 stability.

Major Naval Base: the province must have 20 base production, 50 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 75 legitimacy, 25 prestige, 100 total development, embraced colonialism, 100 ships and 2 stability.

Army Headquarters: the province must have 10 base manpower, 25 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 50 legitimacy, 10 prestige, 100 total development, embraced feudalism, 50k troops and 1 stability.

Major Army Headquarters: the province must have 20 base manpower, 50 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 75 legitimacy, 25 prestige, 100 total development, embraced feudalism, 100k troops and 2 stability.

Colonial Agency: the province must have at least 20 development, no devastation, be part of a state and it’s owner must have at least 50 legitimacy, 10 prestige, 100 total development, has embraced colonialism, expasion ideas fully completed, 25 ships and 1 stability.

All these requirements must be fulfilled for some time, the mean time to happen for these events ir 5 years and 10 years for majors, meaning that if any of these requirements is not fulfilled the MTTH will be reseted, so it’s not that easy to get these events.

Compatibility

Probably compatible if the mod is not a major overhaul.
(it’s compatible with The Great Exhibition).

Performance

The first month of the game will have a noticeble slow down for all the things to set up, but after that is barely noticeable.
