Turkic are Asian
After the latest update, absolutely all Western Turks began to look like Persians, having nothing in common with their ancient Turkic roots in appearance.
I don’t want to enter into a debate about the appearance of the Turks of the Middle Ages (most of whose descendants in Central AsIA now look more Asians), but I just decided to add something interesting.
I did not make absolutely all Turks Asians. There are 3 ethnicities in the game, with which I worked in this mod: West Turks (same as Persian), Central Turks, Asian. The only culture that I left "Western Turks" ethnicity to is the Turkmen (Because the culture appears at a later stage of the game and its representatives have had more time to assimilate with other peoples). The rest of the cultures, as a rule, have the ethnicity "Central Turks" (Oguzes, Pechenegs, etc.). But I made the Eastern Turks Asians (Kirghiz, Uriankhai, etc.)
I don’t claim historical accuracy. I did this mod for myself, but decided to post it. It’s interesting to start the game as an Eastern Turk, and then through marriages through the centuries to have a blond character with a European appearance.
