While the Specter remains effective at taking down most aircraft, its fragile airframe and heavy weight led to many losses in combat. To address these shortcomings, the Stino Corporation developed the SC-85 Phantom. The Phantom features a smaller and nimbler airframe, enabling it to perform much sharper turns than its predecessor. Despite its compact size, it’s powered by significantly more powerful engines, allowing it to reach speeds of Mach 1. The engines are also equipped with thrust-vectoring nozzles, further enhancing the aircraft’s agility.
the Phantom proved to be a major improvement, offering superior performance, speed, and survivability, all in a smaller, more maneuverable frame.
