Imperial Splendour: Byzantine Cultural Features for the Middle East
Hey, so perhaps I am not the most well versed in the Middle Eastern history, but I am pretty sure Middle Eastern Empires should use some of the features Byzantines use (like, as an example, Eunuchs), and while I think seting Abbasids to Admin Gov at the start of the game is a cool idea, I felt sad in how flavourless it was compared to Byzantines, so I’ve decided to make this simple mod, adding some of the Greek culture features to the Middle Eastern ones as well.
It is done by the new tradition called ‘Imperial Splendour’, hence the mods name.
Right now I’ve added this tradition to Mashriqi, Egyptian, and Persian cultures. You can suggest more cultures that could get this tradition.
The mod is very simple and should work with almost anything that isn’t total conversion (it only adds new files, and overwrites nothing).
