Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) weapon sounds replacement for SWCS
FOR THIS TO WORK, YOU MUST INSTALL IT BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE REQUIRED BASE ADDON AND RESTART THE GAME
A basic sound mod replacing weapon sounds in SWCS CS:GO Weapon pack with their CS2 counterparts. Not a lot of changes though, see below which sounds got changed in CS2 compared to CS:GO.
– Every scoped weapon, including scoped assault rifles, now has a unique, distinct zoom-in sound. i had to modify the Lua files of SSG 08 and AWP, the soundscript bits in particular, since in SWCS, they used SCAR zoom-in sound by default. Not the G3 though.
– The AK now sounds a teeny tiny bit different, if quieter
– The Galil had its firing sounds modified a bit to sound more abrupt and distinct, presumably to make it easier to tell from the M4A4 by sound
– The Glock received brand-new firing sounds for whatever reason. In their sharpness, they’re a tad reminiscent of the sounds Glock had in early days of CS:GO
– The FA-MAS got the biggest change, with all of its firing sounds, bolting sounds and clip-in sound replaced.

– Unsupressed M4A1-S now sounds like the M4A4. Im not sure why did they do that
– To add insult to the injury, the M249 received a new pitful firing sound and now sounds absolutely pathetic.
At this point im just covinced that Valve hates this gun
These are pretty much all the changes. i feel like while there are some improvements, especially the unique scoping sounds, some of these are downgrades, namely the M249 and M4A1-S.
