November Revolution Monument
The Monument to the November Revolution is a memorial erected in 1926 at the Friedrichsfelde Central Cemetery in Berlin to the memory of the leaders of the Communist Party of Germany Karl Liebknecht and Rosa Luxemburg and other activists killed in 1919 and 1920 during the suppression of left-wing unrest. The building was demolished by the German government in 1935 to its foundations and was not restored after the end of World War II.
The monument was made of brick and steel, and included a flagpole. Author – Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
