F-15E StrikeEagle
The F-15E "Strike Eagle" is a dual-seat, supersonic fighter-bomber developed by McDonnell Douglas (now part of Boeing) based on the F-15 "Eagle." It is primarily designed for ground attack missions while retaining air superiority capabilities, making it a dual-role fighter. Externally, it is largely similar to the F-15D, but features a strengthened airframe, redesigned engine bays, cockpit, and certain structural components, increasing its range by 33%. Key avionics upgrades include the installation of the APG-70 radar, the addition of the LANTIRN pod to enhance target detection, identification, and weapon delivery accuracy, and the replacement of the original two-redundancy analog CAS with a digital triple-redundancy fly-by-wire flight control system with automatic terrain-following capability. The aircraft also incorporates an advanced glass cockpit display system and a ring laser gyro inertial navigation system. The number of weapon hardpoints has been doubled, with six additional hardpoints mounted along each conformal fuel tank.
This mod also adds the LANTIRN pod system, which includes two new pods that can be manually mounted on your aircraft.
