NEUTRAL SPECIAL: Brewing Hat
Hat Kid charges up an explosive concoction that deals damage in any direction it hits! Holding Special can influence how far it can be thrown.
SIDE SPECIAL: Homing Attack
Hat Kid performs her homing attack! Holding Up or Down can influence her height while homing as she moves forward at the direction she’s facing.
UP SPECIAL: Umbrella Hover
Hat Kid lifts off to spin around dealing damage to anyone above her, then will be optionally helpless by falling slower with her umbrella open.
DOWN SPECIAL: Projectile Badge
Hat Kid charges up a beam! Holding Special with a star indication tells which stage of charge she is in. Unlike the other previous SKM contenders, this charge is faster. The more held the charge, the stronger and more range it can hit!
- While airborne, pressing Taunt allows Hat Kid to hover slowly down to the ground! Flicking Down will cancel Hat Kid’s hover, but it can also be re-enabled.
- While doing DAir, pressing Jump or Shield can allow a Ice Hat Hop.
- During FAir, UAir, or BAir, pressing Special makes a spin attack! Doing BAir will do a reversed spin attack as well.
- During Max Gauge, you can cancel the charged state of Neutral B by pressing Shield!
Hat Kid can interact with other characters. The tag is Z_HatKid!
