Description:

Have you ever wondered why the capital of your vast empire only provides +1 gold, just like any ordinary count? Wonder no more! This mod adds a decision for independent rulers or powerful vassals to confirm their capital, granting modifiers based on the size of your realm.

“Realm Capital Ranked” is a sister mod that applies modifiers according to your title rank rather than realm size. You can use both together, or pick the one you prefer!

Note: This mod does not include a Chinese translation. You will need to subscribe to a separate translation mod, listed below.

Features

– A decision that grants capital modifiers based on the size of your realm. The AI can also use this decision.
– When your realm is sufficiently large (>100), extra building slots will be added to your capital. Once you reach the 10-slot maximum, you will receive a separate “Capital Management” modifier instead of additional slots.
– The gold and prestige costs of the decision scale depending on realm size and rank.

Compatibility

– Fully compatible with all mods.

Load Order

– Not important, but for safety, place this mod higher in the load order so that other mods can overwrite it in case of unexpected conflicts.

Translations

Chinese by 無壹
– AI translation added for all supported language by CK3, including Chinese.

Notes

I felt that the tier system in vanilla was too basic, which led to the creation of this mod.
I also plan to create a development and economic network that all vassal capitals can benefit from. Large vassals, like kings, will be more valuable since they can receive capital bonuses similar to yours.
The maximum number of building slots is set to 10 because, in most cases, you don’t have enough buildings to fill them all, and empty slots can be annoying.
The numbers were chosen based on intuition, so they might be unbalanced. You can adjust them in the files within the “modifiers” and “scripted_effects” folders, for example the max slots.
