Paanajärvi Lake (Early Start)
Hello, comrades, and welcome to this 1930s modification of the Shaggy Bay map!
It’s one of my favorite Steam maps, but it was released three years ago.
So I decided to rework it and make it my own!
Welcome to Paanajärvi, a small town in northern Karelia, built on the shores of the lake of the same name. While the first inhabitants appeared in Paanajärvi in the 5th and 6th millennia BC, it wasn’t until 1769 that the first Finnish settlement was established.
With its 4,000 inhabitants, the town’s main livelihood is fishing and logging in the region. But the recent discovery of coal and a hydroelectric project have prompted the Politburo to finance the region’s development!
You, First Secretary of Pannajärvi, make this small nation prosper for the glory of socialism!
