Context:
By late November, with the virus spreading rapidly along the East Coast and government orders to retreat beyond the Red Zone, Atlanta became one of the last major evacuation centers on the East Coast, aiming to move large numbers of civilians beyond the Great Wall. To secure the operation and maintain order during the evacuation, units from the National Guard and the 3rd Infantry Division were deployed in the heart of the city to establish a defensive perimeter around the safe zone, becoming the final bastion between life and death.
