The Divide, A Tale of Two Continents
The Year is 371, Technological advancement is roughly equivalent to the early medieval era of our timeline. Magic and other Supernatural forces do not exist. Humans dominate the world, settling over 70% of the worlds surface. The Great Divide (the ocean that seperates the two continents) serves as a barrier between East and West.
Brief Overview of The History of This Scenario
Humans Arrived long ago on ships from a far off, unknown group, 99.8% of their ships failed and crash landed on this planet, and the others received communications to return home and abandon the colony. With the loss of most information and any technology, the people who had crash landed and survived (mostly Engineers and non-essential workers) would recreate society. They would develop their own cultures, religeons and nations, power dynamics and social inequality would persist, just as it did so many thousands of years before they had crash landed. The people still vaguely remember their past, but it was largely lost to time and forgotten by many cultures, except the Northern Tribes, which passed generational knowledge from the first few years of their crash landing. Underground covenants of technology bearers and generations of forgotten scientists still exist, though they are outlawed in almost every nation, with most deeming them "Wizards" and "Covenants of Black Magic" Whatever group they descended from are likely far gone and are also forgotten to space. This is the last place where humanity is thriving.
