Firearms B41 Revamped / Snake’s Hunting
I have tweaked some settings so that scopes are no longer required (but still immensely useful) when hunting. More powerful scopes will give you more powerful bonuses when hunting animals, to both spot chance and chance to hit (Note that I managed to figure out why the x2-x8/x4-x12 Scopes were breaking the script, so those provide very large bonuses now).
You will get a small bonus when using the iron sights and red dot attachments, and a larger chance to hit bonus when using a laser sight.
I’ve also included correct noise reduction bonuses for silencers now, though these will all come with a -5 to your chance to hit. Silencer effectiveness decreases as calibre size increases.
Stocks and Bipods will also give a further substantial bonus to your hit chance.
Hunt with assault rifles!
(Note that you will not be able to hunt with any Short or Sawn Off variants).
You can also now hunt with shotguns! But be aware that these come with a natural -5 to hit chance.
This can be offset by attaching a Full Choke Tube since it gives the shotgun a narrower blast .
Can be further offset with higher tier shotguns through the use of attachable stocks or extending an already attached stock (Spas12 for example).
(Could use some feedback on this to see if I should decrease the natural chance to hit further).
