Description:

My wife and I really like Chameleon Stalker units that the lizardmen get so I made this mod to bring them into the Empire roster. I don’t normally like to mess with or use unit mods as I don’t like screwing with faction balances, but Chameleon Stalkers are just a ton of fun and are not overpowered late game units so I don’t mind using this one.

These stalkers have the same stats and chevron growth as chameleon stalkers. They use the same melee and missile weapons as well (but they look different and the guns sound like guns).

You can recruit these units in the Tap House (Level 1 Bar) because I wanted it to be something 2nd level that would make sense about hiring some local folk and more units need to be hired in bars.

Any talent, skill, or technology that modifies the basic Swordsmen or Free Company units will affect these units. Also I used the normal empire attrition which is…empire troops are damaged by all attrition types. Kind of annoying but since these are Privateers I also made them immune to deep sea attrition for kicks.

I made the units mixed gender. 2 female and 3 male head variants. They each also have 5 torso options with 3 leg options for a fair amount of diversity while still looking very cohesive. They sound like normal free company because you cannot mix sounds…otherwise I would have mixed in some female voices as well.
