SCO Solo – SP Enhancements
SCO Solo – Single-Player Enhancements (Arma 3)
Lightweight SP squad utilities that auto-wire into any mission.
Core Functions
- Squad Status – A compact squad report with stable roster slots, injury state, FAK count, primary-mag count, short weapon labels, medic marking, and DOA memorial rows.
- Squad Medic – Automated SP triage and treatment using a real squad medic. The medic treats casualties, can hand off FAKs, restores formation afterward, and respects SOG_AI when configured.
- No-Medic Self-Heal – If no usable medic is present, conscious squad members can self-heal with a FAK. Optional Player Heal 100 can top off the player’s remaining damage after the configured timer.
- Grass Compensation – Prone-only camouflage/audibleCoef help for the player’s squad, with hostile proximity melt-off and clean enable/disable behavior.
- Babble Notification System – Lightweight radio-style messages with separate zones, cadence control, critical-message handling, and consistent audio feedback.
- Branch-Aware Identity – Assigns branch-aware ranks, last names, and stable identity variables for use by Squad Status and Babble.
- HUD Toggle – Optional keybind to switch between reduced and full HUD display.
- Force Load – Optional startup FAK control with No Change or exact-count enforcement for living non-medic squad units. ACE earplugs and M57 clacker can be added to the player when ACE is loaded.
Squad Status
- Stable squad numbering for living units.
- Medic units are marked with *.
- Shows injury state: AOK, LGT, SER, CRT.
- Shows FAK count, primary-compatible magazine count, and a shortened primary weapon label.
- DOA units are memorialized at the bottom with slot 00.
- Memorial names are cached to avoid bad dead-object names.

What’s New in v1.0
- Squad Status refresh: cleaner Squad Report title, compact one-line rows, medic * marker, short weapon labels, and safer DOA memorial names.
- Multiple medic support: if more than one medic is present, SCO Solo assigns one active medic and promotes another if the assigned medic dies or becomes unusable.
- Medic reliability: improved FAK handoff loop, safer delayed helper storage, and better SOG_AI detection.
- Player Heal 100 restored: after no-medic self-heal with a FAK, the player can be topped off after the configured timer without consuming another FAK.
- FAK loadout control: added No Change plus exact-count enforcement. Numeric choices can add or remove FAKs, and medics are excluded from enforcement.
- Grass Comp optimized: lighter hostile scanning, squad-wide prone handling, runtime guard, and clean reset when disabled or when no units are prone.
- CBA polish: Addon Options now appears as SCO Solo, with clearer hover text for FAKs and Player Heal 100.
- Identity robustness: branch selection and callsign helpers are mirrored safely into missionNamespace for delayed callbacks and startup timing.
- Code maintenance: active source headers standardized to the SCO HotLZ format.
Compatibility / Notes
- Designed for single-player/client-side use.
- CBA_A3 is required for addon options and keybinds.
- Compatible with SOG_AI, including custom SOG_AI naming that still identifies as SOG_AI.
- Compatible with ACE when ACE Medical is disabled.
- Not compatible with ACE Medical. SCO Solo uses vanilla healing and FAK behavior.
- No mission init required; systems start through postInit functions.
