My Own Well lets you build your own functional well — no more relying on pre-placed ones! With a deep crafting system, skill-based progression, and realistic mechanics, this mod brings a new layer of survival immersion to your world.
You’ll need more than just a hammer — only true survivors can construct a well!
To craft your own, you’ll need:
Woodwork: 6
Masonry: 8
Metal Welding: 4
Blacksmith: 2
Hammer → May Degrade Light
Pick Axe → May Degrade Heavy
Shovel → May Degrade Heavy
Sharp Knife → Not Dull and May Degrade Light

– See how much water is left in each well.
– Wells collect 15% of rainwater automatically.
– Every in-game hour, wells refill with 25–75L of water (configurable).
– Water gets split between nearby wells within 20 tiles to avoid construction abuse.
By default, between 25 and 75 liters per hour can fill a 10,000 liter well in 7 to 10 days.
You can’t build wells underground or on rooftops. Designed to be realistic and balanced for long-term survival. But you can enable build underground in sandbox settings.
