December 8, 2024, the regime of Bashar El Assad collapsed in a few days, the Russians have already evacuated their base in Latakia, the departure of the last ship from Tartus is imminent…
Alternate history as rebels attack Tartus Port as it is being evacuated by Russia.
You must evacuate a Ropucha and a Kilo to a safe zone under enemy fire.
The remains of the Syrian army will delay the rebels.
details and disclaimers :
– The date is not December 8, 2024 because the game ends in 1991
– Some units are not available to some nations, but Syria does use SA-13s, the P-18 radar, the OSA-1 as well as T-72 Ural in 2024. (Specifically, IRL the OSA-1 are located in Tartus.)
– The Russian flag is replaced by the USSR
– The port of Tartus actually hosts an Improved KILO, here replaced by a classic KILO, similarly, the port of Tartus hosts Ropucha.
– The rebel SS-N-2 must be imagined as a missile coming from an OSA-2 recovered by the rebels during the capture of the port of Lattakia.
