Tired of having to waste precious seconds on your hands and knees to lay down in the middle of a gunfight? Not anymore!

This is qProne, a project I’ve been working on for the past year as a replacement for the traditional prone mod.

What does this do different?

  • No animations for entering/exiting prone, instead replaced by a small camera bounce
  • Similar control scheme to the original prone mod
  • Works with Dynamic Height + Crouch Fix! (because its a requirement… lol)

Controls can be found under Options > qProne Settings, or with the following convars:

qprone_enabled (default 1, obviously)
qprone_doubletap (default 1)
qprone_keybind (default 83 (CTRL))

Alternatively, bind a key to "qprone_lay", however this will ignore qprone_doubletap.

please note I had to finagle the existing code a bunch, so "qprone_keybind" uses the numerical designation, or "keys Enum." These values can be found here.[wiki.facepunch.com]
