-Fixed the glitch that made almost all mods crash
A world set in the late 19th century, has suffered a sudden ice age, and now the renmants of civilization converge in an endless battle for the glory of the old world!
”It all started decades ago, back in the days of 1896, when the apocalypse, merely called as “The Blizzard” came to our world, abruptly and out of nowhere. Soon, the green fields of my homeland were turned into a frozen wasteland. The first weeks were when chaos set ablaze in the civilized world. The crops were not growing and they used to do, food was scarce, I saw people fight each other to eat, old friends from childhood fight over a can of food for their families… Even the police, the metropolitan corps that enforced the law, now stealing from common folks like us.
The worst days have passed away, and mankind managed to survive the winter. It never stopped, but we made it, at a price. And it was high.
Today is August 23th of 1923, and I have seen many things in all the years I’ve lived, I’ve seen nations decay in complete anarchy, mighty empires break down into fragmented states… And yet, I have seen things that I never thought were possible; machinery from the past, bring back to life, and upgrading it, to a point I have never saw before.
Despite we humans almost got erased by the snow, we still fight each other for what’s left of the world. We have changed, but war never does, battles have become mechanized, with automatic weapons, war machines that endure the most powerful projectiles, and somehow, man has reached the sky in air machines that drop hell on earth! Such is the fate of the human being, destroying himself, even in times of need and desperation.
Desperation and need, those are the factors that drive us to do such things.
I have become old, and I don’t think I will endure more years the test of time. I just hope this letter remain long enough to endure this never-ending winter. Hopefully, someone will read this, for the judgement day is close, and humanity must unite, something far more terrible is coming, and only we, united, can stop it, I can feel it…”
