Isla Esperanza – Early start LATAM map
El Primer Secretario, our struggle is over! The freedom fighters have signed a treaty banishing the colonizer off of our islands… most of them at least.
Under threat of their navy stepping in to intervene we had to let them keep our most northern premises. Nevertheless the fight is now in the past, and the freedom fighter Hideout stands as reminder of our people’s bravery!
With a friendly socialist republic to the south and our unbroken spirits we are sure to have an extraordinary entrance into the roaring decades ahead – the 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond!
The People’s Republic of Isla Esperanza spans over three islands – the slightly mountainous, densely populated, and mineral rich Isla Esperanza, the currently uninhabitet Isla Soldad and the mostly flat, oil rich Isla de San Pedro.
This map is somewhat similar to my first one – Puerto Dorado – except FLATTER! BIGGER! PRETTIER! – as well as purpose built for an early start playthrough – although it could easily be played from the 60s onwards further cementing the feeling of a backwater island republic.
