2014 marks the next generation of Chevrolet’s own Corvette, the C7, and the return of the "Stingray" moniker after almost 4 decades. It is the last front engine, rear-wheel drive Corvette and is powered by 6.2 L V8 engine, in addition to the carbon fiber hood and the removable roof panel. The first batch of C7 Stingrays were on sale in the third quarter of 2013 in the US with other regions following circa 2014.
