Burke
Hi yall!
This map is based on the historic and highly productive silver valley mining district in northern Idaho! This specific layout is based on the town of Burke and the nearby Hecla Star mine. Ive taken some creative liberties to make the scope and overall size reasonable but still pack in a lot of detail, but I’m really happy with the result.
Notable places are:
The Morning Star Mine: The most productive mine in the district, owned by the morning star mining company.
Monolith Mine: Owned by the Bruiser Mining Corporation, it was once the deepest mine in the district!
Burke, ID: This small mountain town is one of many that would boom and bust through the ages. It hosts and impressive hotel, and array of shops, and upscale living arrangements for the companies managers and engineers.
Little Ophir Mine: this small operation owned by American Silver Holdings is one of the last hold outs from the first days of mining in the Valley.
Note: This map has AI trains. There is an ore train, which is loaded in the large concrete tipple and travels clockwise around the map, and a boxcar trains which travels counter clockwise. If you want to run your own trains, I suggest deleting these to not jam up your operation
