Avenue of the Palace of Soviets block
A set of colossal blocky socialist-realist skyscrapers inspired by an unbuilt 1930s concept for an Avenue of the Palace of the Soviets.
It comes in three variants, with different models:
* A residential building (960 workers, 89% quality);
* An immense department store / univermag capable of serving up to 960 people at once when fully staffed. This should be able to supply an entire dense city, but will be challenging to keep supplied at full capacity even with its very generous internal capacity (140t dry, 50t meat) so make sure you have appropriate storage and transport arrangements in place.
* A hospital with similar stats to the vanilla large hospital (ie, more capacity than any city actually needs), including two helipads.
I’m considering another building behind it if this is popular, to have hotel and museum elements for a real massive Stalinist urban centre.
Prices are roughly balanced with other good quality Early Start flats and markets (around 4x the cost and capacity of the large early food market hall.) Mechanical components are required for the lifts. Thanks to Duke Flapjack for suggesting the hospital, which I think came out well.
