Yoyo Weapons
Fans of Starbound are often also fans of Terraria. Terraria has yoyos. Now Starbound has yoyos! You can craft them or discover them in treasure chests. Yoyos are controlled by your cursor and have limited range and duration.
Yoyos can be modified using Yoyo Strings and Yoyo Counterweights to upgrade their stats.
Crafted Yoyos:
• Wooden, Rainbow Wood, Tungsten Toss, Titanium Throw, Durasteel Drifter, Aegisalt (Joust), Ferozium (Imperial), Violium (Vanguard), Protectorate
Unique Yoyos:
• Fiery (Hotshot), Frozen (Cryonis), Shadow (Outcast), Solar, Yin Yang
Counterweights can be purchased from merchants found on planets for 225 pixels each. They can be equipped to any yoyo (except solar) using right-click.
Counterweight Types: Fiery, Icy, Electric, Poison
Equip a string to your yoyo using right-click to increase its max range and change its string color.
String Types:
• Short: Crafted at Spinning Wheel. +2 Range
• Long: Crafted at Sewing Table. +4 Range
• Holo: Purchased at Treasured Trophies. Translucent & Fullbright. +3 Range
Should be compatible with every mod, but includes integration with:
• Frackin’ Races: Humans deal 10% extra damage with any yoyo
• Bagger 288!: Adds a new yoyo (the Bagger 288)
• Bloo’s Yoyo Pack: Adds lots of new yoyos
