Flashpoint Pacific
This campaign is a WIP, any feedback would be appreciated.
It is 2028 and tensions have reached a boiling point in the Pacific. The PLA has completed its buildup and is now moving to make good on China’s territorial claims. You must command Allied forces in the region to stop this aggression.

October 1st, 2028: Phillipines Coast Guard vessel BRP Teresa Magbanua is attempting to resupply the outpost at the Second Thomas Shoal. PLAN vessels have been sent to intercept and harass this resupply. USS Cole DDG-67 is conducting a FONOP nearby.
October 2nd, 2028: Following the incident at the Second Thomas Shoal, China has blamed the US for engaging in unprovoked hostile actions toward the PLAN. China has promised retribution will be swift, and has issued a declaration of war against the United States and her allies in the Pacific. The PLA appears to be mobilizing for offensive operations within the first island chain. The USS Carl Vinson CSG has been ordered out of the South China Sea to protect her from Chinese attack.
October 5th, 2028: Full scale war now rages in the Pacific. On October 3rd, China utilized its rocket forces to devastate defenses on Taiwan, with only 2 airbases and a limited number of ships surviving the assualt. The US, having pulled a majority of its forces behind the 1st island chain, was spared the brunt of the attack. PLA forces now appear to have massed for an amphibious assault of Taiwan. The island must not fall.
October 19th, 2028: With American focuses honed on the Pacific, Russia has taken advantage and expanded its war in Ukraine with an invasion of Europe. Article 5 has been triggered the once regional Pacific conflict has exploded into a third world war. With supplies running low in the Pacific, US ready reserve force ships have been mobilized and are carrying supplies into theater.
November 9th, 2028: The war in the Pacific has reachced a deadlock. Chinese rocket forces prevent American carrier strike groups from entering the South China Sea, while the American submarine threat deters any further signifigant amphibious operation by China. Decsive action is needed, and for the US that means destroying the PLARF. Taking a page out of Operation Midnight Hammer from 2025, a stealthy strike against Chinese hypersonic missile batteries is underway.
