Description:
Are You Ready Kids?! SpongeBob SquarePants is here Rivals of Aether workshop!

This is my first project dedicated to one of my favorite characters of all time, Nickelodeon’s very own Spongebob Squarepants.

Overview

SpongeBob is a tricky all-rounder with solid setup potential, horizontal boxing options and strong vertical combos, at the expense of sluggish air speed and slow, high-commitment KO options.

Neutral Special – Bubble Blow

Blow bubbles of varying shapes and properties at your opponents. Charging the move will change the type of bubble SpongeBob shoots, from a standard bubble, to an explosive bomb, and even to a giraffe!

Side Special – Kah-Rah-Tay

Show off your kah-rah-tay techniques with this unique move that cycles through one of four variants with every use. Use Kah to pop foes up for combos, Rah to shove them away with stronger knockback, and Tay to soar across the stage with a powerful flying kick. After honing your skills, no matter who gets in the way, you are ready to unleash Spongebob’s full Kah-Rah-Tay abilities with one swift, powerful combo that can take on any form of evil in his path

Up Special – Hydrodynamic Spatula

Ascend vertically with the hydrodynamic spatula in hand, dealing multi-hitting damage on the way up with port and starboard attachments. Just try not to let go of it, though – they only had one in stock.

Down Special – Tongue Trick

Charge up and shoot your tongue out to grab opponents and pop them up overhead for extra walloping. The longer you charge, the further SpongeBob’s tongue will reach. If SpongeBob grabs a bubble, he’ll swallow it and use his incredibly Mr. Absorbency skills to reshape it for even more bubble variations! You can also store the tongue’s charge or even your currently-swallowed bubble by pressing the parry button. A particularly weird, nonsensical, odd-ball type move for a nonsensical, odd-ball yellow dude.
