Alarielle – wood elves campaign
This mod allows you to play Alarielle High Elf faction Averlorn and have the Wood Elves campaign mechanic to heal the world trees at the same time!
New buildings have been added:
A 10 slot main building for magic forests, to replace the HE generic town
Landmarks on forest that are relevant to forests based on their Wood elves landmark counterparts.
The Oak of ages is now a special building for High Elves.
Wood elves mechanics that Alarielle receives:
World root teleportation, from one forest location to another.
The improvement of her Forest Spirit units with the Aspect System (Like Durthu & Drycha)
Healing the Forests gives buffs and unlocks the ritual, allowing you to build the landmarks
The encounters and dilemma events around forests that you are trying to heal
FAQ:
– Do not play the Wood elves, the mecanics are broken for them.
– Playing other High elves faction should be mostly okay.
– Whilst playing as Averlorn the Wood Elves AI will be ok.
– Mods that edit Wood Elves script are not gonna work.
– My other mod that change world torment mechanic to be global, works well with this mod.
– Adding tree spirit unit to the red tree and technology to also buff them is useful if you want to use them.
– Soft incompatibility with mod that edit the map and add magic forest, like IEE, new magic forest healing will not work correctly, but shouldn’t prevent you from playing.
– Plan for compatibility patch with IEE is at least delayed until HE dlc is released.
