Description:

Following on from Worthless Junk Adjusted, and Worthless Plants I present Worthless Mechanoids yay! But wait, mechanoids aren’t worthless you say? Well, sure if they are in working condition. But a dead one does not have much worth. Sure, one can butcher them but only for a small amount of resources. This mod tweaks the vanilla butcher recipes to add a little more flavour, and adds two new recipes that add even more spice.

Smash Mechanoid now also presents steel slag chunks to illustrate this is a primitive method of harvesting resources. Shred Mechanoid now has a little extra steel harvest instead, illustrating a more advanced method. Salvage Mechanoid is the first of two new Mechinator only options, and is available at the Crafting Spot. The other option is Dismantle Mechanoid a more advanced method available at the Machining Table.

But wait, there’s more! If you are also playing with the mod [Meow] Mech Battery you are in for yet another nice surprise. This mod adds a custom battery, Internal Mechanoid Battery that drops when mechs are salvaged by a Mechinator. They are considered "damaged" and so can not be recharged, but they do spawn with a random, small amount of power available for your colony mechanoids to snack on.
