Alstom Citadis (Montpellier)

Alstom Citadis is a tram family built by Alstom. Most Citadis vehicles are made in Alstom’s factories in La Rochelle, Reichshoffen and Valenciennes, France, and in Barcelona, Spain, and Annaba, Algeria.

Until now, Five generations have been developed, as well as some special versions for the North American market and versions optimised for regional transport.

Trams in the five standard generations are classified using the first digit of their length, plus the generation number.

It is important to note though that each order of trams for each city differs slightly.

This mod adds the Alstom Citadis tram types 301, 401, 302, and 402; with the configuration as used in Montpellier. With the system’s first line opening in 1999, this was one of the first cities to receive Citadis vehicles. These were 3-car units at 30 meters long and therefore classified as Citadis 301. A few years later, they were lengthened to 5-car units due to high ridership demand. They now measure 40 meters, and their classification changed to Citadis 401. This mod includes both configurations.

Each variant includes the real-life liveries that are used on the trams, as well as 3 colourable decals.
