Range And Damage – Infantry combat revised
Tired of your smg infantry not being able to defend itself just because they are a few meters away and the arbitrary range limit makes the guns useless?
ME TOO i set all infantry weapons ranges to 120 meters, and up the damage 5x as for increased lethality
Rocket launchers have also recieve increased ranges, all the faust have the range associated with their names and all shoulder launchers (panzerschreck, bazooka and recoiless m8) now have 100 meter range to give the tanks Coaxial some fighting chance
Infantry should be the jack of all trades in the battlefield, the most dominant forces if used correctly, and their hard counter should be other infantry forces, this is what this mod aims to address.
The firefights should be more lethal between infantry forces, all infantry weapons should be lethal at 120mts but still have a role to play, so SMGs cant be dominant in long ranges but are a very useful tool to close distances and suppress defenders, rifles can drop attackers from a distances and MGs can hold down entire sectors, while autorifles and assault rifles are versatile tools of war making the battlefields more dinamic and tactical in nature.
AT infantry are deadly to tanks, and within 100 mts are a death sentence for any armour opponent not paying attention
