Sneaky Armies (Fog Of War Mod)
Sneaky Armies introduces a "fog of war" mechanic to Shogun 2’s real-time battles. Enemy units are always hidden unless they are within spotting distance, running, or firing. This mod aims to add a sense of realism to your battles, removing some of the omnipotent awareness that Total War players have over battlefield conditions. Scouting, screening, and knowing when and where to concentrate your forces is essential to victory. May the best general win!
Sneaky Armies is designed to be a multiplayer experience. Bots are not recommended.
I may make an expanded version of this mod with additional gameplay tweaks in the future. Cheers! 🙂
Notes:
• This mod should work for both the base game and FOTS.
• Terrain-related stealth bonuses should still apply like normal.
• Generals are always visible (engine limitation).
