"You scoundrel! You dare demand a 340-tile throne room so vast I’d need a golf cart to get around in it? A room where nothing gets done besides ‘entertainment’?! My entire factory isn’t even that big!"
This problem becomes downright ridiculous when you’re trying to build on a gravship. I mean, who can possibly satisfy the palatial demands of a high-ranking noble inside a cramped gravship?
So, I taught these nobles a lesson in frugality. That’s it.

Vastly reduced room size requirements.
Fewer furniture requirements.
You might notice that after the changes, the required area for the ballroom and other rooms might not even be large enough to fit all the required furniture…
Well, that sounds like a you problem now, doesn’t it? After all, a ballroom can’t be without its instruments.
