Long Term Jarring
This mod compatible with both B41 and B42.
Remember that cooked jarred vegetables will follow vanilla expiration date, so you have to store it uncooked.
About this mod:
In real life, jarred vegetables usually last for at least a few years, but in Project Zomboid they always rot just in a month and this is crazy. So now all jarred vegetables will stay fresh for approximately 1.5 years and become rotten in 2 years. That makes sense, as food preservation should be more realistic and help players in long-term survival.
New expiration dates for jarred food:
– 548 days until Stale
– 730 days until Rotten

Is this mod compatible with other jarring-related mods like "Jarred Fruits"?
– Yes, but modded jars will have custom dates of expiration, which are set up by their author.
Can I add this mod at mid-game?
– Yes.
