Description:

Make the looting experience more exciting!
This mod adds a rarity display to in-game items (based on their value), recalibrates search duration, and adds search sound effects.

This mod does not disable achievements.[b]

Custom Search Sound Settings

If you don’t want to use the sound effects included with the mod and prefer to use your own custom sound files, you can configure them as follows:
1. In the game installation directory (for Mac, it’s the same directory as the app), create a folder named ItemLevelAndSearchSoundMod.
2. Place your file 0.mp3 inside (this replaces the search sound for white rarity items; 1=green, 2=blue, 3=purple, 4=gold, 5=light red, 6=dark red).
3. Restart the game (if it’s currently running).

If there’s an issue loading the custom sounds, an error message will appear in red text at the top-left corner of the screen.

Q&A

If the mod does not appear in the in-game mod list after subscribing, Steam may not have finished downloading it. Try exiting the game and checking your Steam download list.

For Mac users, if you cannot enable the mod, it is usually because other mods are using third-party libraries incompatible with ARM chips. Please follow these steps:
1. Uncheck all mods.
2. Move this mod to the first position.
3. Restart the game.
4. Check/enable the mods one by one from top to bottom.

If you want to disable the search duration adjusted by the mod, simply create a file named DisableModSearchTime.txt inside the ItemLevelAndSearchSoundMod folder in the game installation directory.
