SA-2 Guideline
The SA-2 Guideline (or the C-75 in Russian) is the legendary Soviet made Surface to Air Missile which has proved itself to be extremely capable by downing B-57, B-52, F-105, U-2, F-4, F-14, F-15 and even MiG-19 and Su-27. The V-750 missile is a long range missile capable of downing planes that is flying really high. Due to it’s capabilities, it is exported to a lot of countries such as Egypt, Vietnam, Iran, Pakistan, China, India, East Germany, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, and Yugoslavia. Indonesia also acquired a few of this system and it’s operated by AURI. Thanks to it, Indonesia is able to maintain deterrence against Netherlands and US.
This missile is a high speed long range missile. Therefore, it is not really advised to shoot it at high speed low altitude targets. The missile is basically a telephone pole so it can’t turn much. Use the P-18 Radar (bottom right) to acquire targets. Align the azimuth, adjust the elevation, and lock with MMB (adjustable with mutator), and fire. Parol IFF is not used by Indonesia so there is no IFF in game.
