Tokyo Metro 13000 Series / 東京メトロ13000系
The 13000 Series (13000系) is an EMU operated by Tokyo Metro on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
Introduced as a part of the Hibiya Line’s standardisation and modernisation process, the 13000 series was designed to have the same length and doors as other through-running rolling stock, thus allowing stations to install platform doors and use automatic train operation equipment. 44 7-car sets totalling 308 cars were produced, and all operate on the Hibiya Line, with some through services continuing onto the Tobu Isesaki Line and Tobu Nikkō Line.
The following formations are in included:
7 Car
Max Speed: 110km/h
Max Pax: 2070
In Service: 2017-
10 Car (Hypothetical)
Max Speed: 110km/h
Max Pax: 2976
Maximum design speed is used. Operational speeds are 80km/h on the Hibiya Line, and 100km/h on the Tobu Lines.
Capacity is calculated using 200% crush as the Hibiya Line frequently reaches 200% (and above) during rush hour.
