Tokyo Metro (Eidan) 07 Series / 営団07系
The 07 Series (07系) is an EMU operated by Tokyo Metro on the Tokyo Metro Tōzai Line.
Introduced by Eidan (Tokyo Metro’s predecessor) in 1993, the 07 series originally served on the Yūrakuchō Line, before being transferred to the Tōzai Line in 2008 as a part of an effort to replace all non-air conditioned units. The series was designed with the theme of "Gentle & Mild", aiming to evoke notions of kindness to both passengers and the environment. 6 10-car formations totalling 60 cars were produced, all remain in service. Through-running operations are carried out on the JR Chūō-Sōbu Line and Tōyō Rapid Line.
